You’ve seen birds fly in real time, but there’s something pretty cool about seeing one flap its wings in slow motion, especially when it’s looking right at you. In this case, an Eastern bluebird became very fascinated with a trail cam in Missouri—so much so that it stopped in its mid-air tracks and stared right into the camera. The trail-cam owner shared the footage to YouTube, including a slow-mo version of the moment the bird stopped by to say “hi.”
“Cool trail cam video capture this week! This Missouri Ozarks bluebird seems to have an interest in my Stealth Revolver 360 HD trail camera,” wrote Kapper Outdoors Modern homestead in the YouTube caption. “I captured several segments of him but this was the coolest one.”
